Dialogue on Design with Jamie Drake

By danielle

We celebrated the opening of the new Davis & Warshow showroom in SoHo with the first in their series of interviews conducted by the charismatic Ms. Rima Suqi. The room was filled with architects, designers, intriguing visionaries and talents, not to mention some of the best cocktail hors d’oeuvres that I can recall! Rima led Jamie Drake in a discussion that included a series of slides highlighting his impressive projects and expressive couture. Thank you Veeder + Perman… We cant wait to see the next edition of Dialogue on Design!

It was sensory overload as the barrage of interpretations that made up the ‘Shapes of Space’ exhibit unfolded around every bend. Some highlights included: Alyson Shotz, The Shape of Space, 2004 and Piotr Uklański, Untitled (Dance Floor), 1996.

The Design-Calendar girls kicked-off the weekend with last week’s pick-of-the-week: The Summer Sessions at the Cooper Hewitt Museum.
