There was a little of the French joie de vie in the air last night as the New York Design Center and the Museum of the City of New York hosted a benefit reception for the MCNY. Luminaries from both the fashion and design world joined together for a sneak preview, curated by Donald Albrecht.
The upcoming exhibition Paris/New York: Design Fashion Culture 1225-1940
is scheduled to open in June 2008. The show celebrates an era of high style, design, and the grand love affair between Paris and New York during the period between the World Wars. Tres tres chic!
