Vintage and Modern “Fleas” To Brooklyn In March

By kristin

Call me biased, but Brooklyn has always struck me as the city’s creative core – where artists work and play and where style is based on originality rather than a price tag. It’s no wonder Brownstoner’s temporary indoor bonanza, the Winter Antiques Pop-Up Market, has as zealous a following as its summer counterpart, Brooklyn Flea. Even top design outlets such as Cool Hunting and Daily Candy have joined in on the fun this winter, taking turns as the market’s guest curator for a weekend.

We just got word that Vintage and Modern (, our favorite site for finding funky antiques, collectibles and reasonably-priced modern furniture, will also be hosting the market’s “Curated Corner” on March 21st and 22nd at their DUMBO location on 81 Front St.  From vintage print block mirrors and 1950’s courthouse jury chairs to Chinese bed carvings and Shanghai deco club chairs, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone’s design palette!
