Artists for Humanity (AFH) to Debut at NYIGF

By danielle

Even though the city may be NYC’s bitter rivals in baseball (Go Yankees!), we have to acknowledge this admirable Boston-based non-profit youth art apprenticeship organization called Artists for Humanity (AFH). Making its national debut at the NYIGF next week, its mission is to bridge economic, racial and social divisions by providing underprivileged youth with the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in the arts.  This summer, with the help of people like you and I, they employed 120 teens in creative studios.  The young designers will be at the Javits to present the brand new AFH collections for Home and Fashion including the AFH ReVISION “Round” table/stool made from reclaimed magazines, steel and eco-friendly resin, END-DANGER removable wall decals, I am, Nutritious and Earth Warrior t-shirts and more.  AFH is at booth #2351 – be sure to check it out!
