How do you get your work in front of shelter editors?  Good question!  This hot topic will be addressed tonight at the Independent Interior Designer’s Forum (IIDF) of New York.  Charlotte Barnard, lifestyle expert and respected editor, will use her extensive industry background to talk about what works and what doesn’t.  Barnard recently served as deputy editor for Country Living Magazine and also held the position of editor-in-chief of Hearst Special Publications.  Today, she consults with a range of businesses from magazine and new media start-ups to retail entrepreneurial ventures.  If you are a member of IIDF, we suggest that you head to Metropolitan Window Fashions tonight from 6-8:30 to pick her brain and find out how to get your work on newsstands across the country.

Charlotte Barnard will be guest speaker at the IIDF’s September 14 meeting in Manhattan.
