This past Tuesday night, the Sundance channel and Anthropologie celebrated the launch of the TV series “Man Shops Globe” with a private shopping event and screening at Anthropologie’s Rockefeller Center store.

The exclusive fete, hosted by Anthropologie buyer-at-large and star of the show, Keith Johnson, was the talk of the town.  In addition to shopping the store and previewing the show, industry insiders and bold-faced names enjoyed cocktails and dishes inspired by the cultures featured in some of the episodes. Proceeds of the evening’s sales benefitted the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design.

The exciting new series follows Keith as he searches the farthest corners of the earth for unique found objects, from flea markets in Paris to remote villages in India. Dedicating six months each year to travel and research, Keith uncovers unique and one-of-a-kind pieces of art, including decorative objects, furniture, textiles and crafts, which serve as inspiration for commissioned works that are produced and sold in Anthropologie stores.

Man Shops Globe” premieres Wednesday, October 7 at 10:00pm ET/PT on the Sundance Channel.  We know we won’t want to miss it!
