We want to send our congratulations to our friend Gaspare Asaro.  His showroom, Gaspare Asaro Millenovecento is one of six new antique dealers to open up on E 60th Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues in NYC.  Located above Bermingham & Co (which has a stunning array of antiques, fabrics and decorative accessories), the space features of curated mix of mid-century Italian lighting, furnishing and accessories.  After literally drooling over everything we saw, it was time to leave and see what else “antiques row” had in store for us.  So we followed the white Architectural Digest balloons to find several other stunning brick-and-mortar showrooms along this one-block stretch including: Classic Rug Collection, John Salibello Antiques, Guy Regal LTD, Newel Antiquities, Lerebours Antiques, Donald A. Heald, Phoenix Antiques, Luther Quintana Studio, APF Master Framemakers and MMK Custom Furniture.  Like kids in a candy store, we had a hard time leaving each and every one.  Next time you’re in the neighborhood, we suggest you check them out too.
