CO2 CUBES: Visualize a Ton of Change
By nancy
Each month, the average person living in an industrialized society emits a ton of CO2 into the atmosphere. Inquiring minds will want to know what all this hot air look like. On December 7 in Copenhagen, as part of COP15, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, our curiosity will be satisfied in a dramatic way. Occupying the space of a three-story building, this live multimedia art exhibit will enable participants to physically and virtually take part in the global dialogue. According to Mia Hanak, Executive Director of Millenium ART, “World-renowned artists, architects and scientists have joined forces to deliver an art experience that will leave a lasting impression, and help people understand the impact of our CO2 footprint, while inspiring new solutions that we can individually and collectively take part in to reduce our CO2 emissions.”
