LIVE from One of a Kind
By danielle
One of a Kind Show and Sale is in the Big Apple through Sunday. We had a chance to preview the fair, which features the work of over 250 artisans, last night and met up with Nancy Nicholson, a Brooklyn-based artist specializing in stained glass, at her booth (G14). With iPhone in hand, she took a moment away from her busy schedule to walk the show floor and snap a few shots of her favorite things from her fellow exhibitors (we couldn’t help but include her stuff as well – we know you will love it as much as we do). Our thanks to Nancy and we hope you enjoy this photo montage from the One of a Kind Show and Sale NY!

Nancy Nicholson Stained Glass: These panels originate from her photographs. They are created with glass, vitreous paints (hand painted and fired in a kiln for permanence), lead and copper foil. They are one of a kind works of art that can be suspended in a window, installed into an architectural opening, allowing the natural light to illuminate them, or framed in a light box and mounted on a wall. The light pieces are designed for a table setting and provide ambient light. Booth: G14
