New York International Gift Week Starts Saturday

The New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF) rolls into town this week with an expanded international feel. In addition to the “Handmade in the USA” section, there will be eleven international pavilions, with expanded participation by groups from both Israel and Japan. We also heard about a newly formed international consortium in Accent on Design called “Accent on Japan.” The pavilion will include four independent Japanese exhibitors including: Gallery 91; Inatome; Morihata International Ltd. Co.; and Tanuma Co., Ltd (a first-time NYIGF exhibitor). We are excited to see their work and check out the rest of products that Accent on Design has to offer as we scour the pavilion to make our selection for the “Bloggers Choice Awards” (check back early next week to see who caught our eye!)
And we cannot forget about the other locations that make New York Gift Week so great. Besides Javits, be sure to also visit 7W New York (who is concurrently launching a new Baby & Kids Fair), Pier 94 (which will include exhibits from ASID’s New Jersey and New York Metro chapters), and 230 Fifth for the very best lines across the home, lifestyle and gift spectrum.
