Take A Tour of the Architectural Digest Home Design Show

By danielle

Yesterday, we spent the entire day touring, photographing, blogging and partying at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show and DIFFA’s Dining By Design.  The aisles were filled and according to reports over 6,500 people walked through on the first day alone! That’s good news for the home improvement industry!  So this weekend, we encourage you to take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather and enjoy the westward walk to Pier 94!  Here’s a look at what’s waiting for you there.

First stop...The Essential Home, a 1,600-square-foot contemporary model apartment inside the show. It's a collaboration between Ligne Roset, Valcucine, Coro, Rimadesio and Listone Giordano by Margaritelli.

Then look for the detail in Fromental's handmade wallpaper from The Roger Thomas Collection and signature designs from collections including Non Such Chinoiserie (part embroidered in Platinum and Prunus in the new Percy colorway.)

Test out Jenn-Air's new touch screen oven. It does it all...it's like buying an oven with a built-in chief!

And then get MOBILE. Moore & Giles brought an Airstream to show off their stunning line of bags and accessories.

While Mark Levinson arrived with a Mobile Showroom! Pop in for the finest sound quality you will ever hear!

And then take a break on one of Royal Botania's loungers inside the d'apostrophe booth.

Finally, enjoy a good chuckle with the talented and playful Tucker Robbins!
