The Calendar Girls Guide to the Salone del Mobile 2010

By natalie

Each year, the Salone del Mobile, Milan’s 5-day event dedicated to global furniture and interior design, turns the city renowned for its distinct brand of industrial chic into a moveable feast of design. The Salone consistently showcases the most cutting-edge products and names on the design radar – and this year, the lineup at the fair’s site, the Fiera Milano Nuovo Polo, and beyond promises nothing less than a repeat performance.

Together with the assistance of our calendar girls in Italy, we’ve rounded up a sampling of some of the coolest events, parties, and openings going on in the fairgrounds and around the city, organized by date. We’ve put Milan – and the Salone – in your fingertips. Molto convenient, no?

If you won’t be making it to Milan for the fair this year, check out Design-Calendar for a full review of the Salone del Mobile 2010 by our special guest blogger — design diva and perennial Salone attendee Sherri Donghia.
