Did you Catch the WAVE at Meatpacking last weekend? After month-long stints at the International Polo Club in Palm Beach, Florida and the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, Royal Botania’s WAVE made its New York debut on May 14 in front of Spice Market Square.  Measuring  12 ft x 9.5 ft x 8ft, yet standing on a single point, this larger-than-life hammock attracted lots of attention all weekend long. It was a design celebrity! If you missed it, check out the glam shots.

The Product: Designed by Erik Nyberg & Gustav Ström, the WAVE consists of electro-polished stainless steel and mesh.

The Installation: Francis D’Haene, founder of d’apostrophe design, was commissioned to create this oscar-worthy exhibit in the heart of the Meatpacking District.
