Lights, Camera, Design!
By danielle
Design-Calendar contributing editor and founder of a whole host of amazing design, travel and culture-related blogs, e-zines, and all things digital Saxon Henry caught up with our friends Jason Oliver Nixon and John Loecke (responsible for the “Paradise Lost” Weeds den) at the Showtime House (West 45 St, NYC). We loved her Design Commotion coverage of the opening night party so much that we just had to see more. Our thanks to Cheminne Taylor-Smith and my favorite photographer Andrew French for this closer look at the suites inspired by seven Showtime original series: Dexter, Weeds, The Borgias, the big C, Californication, Nurse Jackie and Unites States of TARA. The penthouse showcase, atop Manhattan’s Cassa Hotel, is open to the public on Saturdays 11AM to 5PM through October 23. Tickets are $15 each with proceeds benefitting Harlem Children’s Zone.
