Georgetown Jingle Event: Designers Come Together for a Good Cause

By alexandra

Those in the D.C. area can look forward to some inspiring decoration around their city this holiday season.  As part of the Georgetown Jingle Event, which will take place December 12th at the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, the best and brightest Washington-area interior designers will harness their talents for a good cause. Each participating interior designer has partnered with a young Georgetown cancer patient to create holiday-themed trees and vignettes. On display starting December 1st at the Four Seasons Hotel, a themed tree will also be on display in The Washington Design Center and in Banana Republic’s Georgetown location, starting in early November.  Best of all, if you fall in love with one of the designs, you can bring it home with you.  All but the Banana Republic tree will be available for purchase starting December 1st. Georgetown Jingle attendees can bid on the remaining inspired holiday décor during the event’s silent auction.

The Georgetown Jingle event will also feature a raffle for a 2011 Toyota Venza to support Georgetown University Hospital’s pediatric center programs. The drawing will be held during the Georgetown Jingle on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at The Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC.

Tickets for the raffle are on sale at The Washington Design Center, located at 300 D Street, SW – through the Marketing Office and the Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman, PFM Rosecore, and Stark Carpet showrooms. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the December 12th event, prior to the drawing.
