Gretel Unveils Tempting Products Tonight at Inventory in Miami

By Lauren Hill

The children’s story goes, that little Hansel and Gretel were tempted by a house filled with candy and sweets. Fast forward to March 3, 2011 and now Gretel is tempting us with new products like ceramics, textiles and lighting.

Tonight Gretel will make our mouth water from their new home accessories debut as part of the Inventory Series 01 in Miami, Florida.  Along with new sophisticated products, the evening also features speakers from Miami’s design community:  Luis Pons, architect and industrial designer (D-Lab), Erika Morales and Julian Martin, graphic designers (Lemon Yellow), John Lin, director of communications (The Webster) and Rodrigo Londono, architect and creative director (Catapult 13).

Tonight’s unveiling starts at 7, but if you happen to be soaking up the Miami sun during the weekend, the Gretel pop-up installation is open Friday and Saturday from 10-6 and Sunday 10-4 at the Buena Vista Building in the Design District, Miami.

Though a house full of chocolates sounds tempting, in my opinion, Gretel’s new home decor is just as sweet as candy.
