Milan, Milan, Milan…

If you find yourself alarmingly sober during Milan design week, don’t worry.  The enablers at Design-Calendar are here to show you where you can get your fix of adult beverages.  Remember to enjoy your design responsibly!

Of course these off-site events are also open to the public all week during hours when drinking is frowned upon in polite society: a club that has repeatedly denied my application.

Do you prefer to rub elbows with some serious design heavyweights?  Have you always wanted to approach a world famous designer but need some liquid courage?  If so, head over to the launch of the Karim Sampler, an exhibit celebrating the last fifteen years of work from the ubiquitous Karim Rashid.  If there isn’t some kind of specialty pink cocktail here, they’re doing it wrong.

  • Cocktail party will be April 12th at 7, invite only, RSVP online.
  • La Triennale di Milano, Viale Emilio Alemagna, 6.
  • The event will also be open to the public April 12-17 from 10:30-10pm.

Remember to hydrate BEFORE you go to sleep.  Something with vitamin-C works best.  Hungover is no way to experience Design Week!
