HP and New Era Announce New Products

HP has announced new products that will allow personal images and beloved art to turn into home décor. These products are HP’s Faux Canvas, Photo Books at Wal-Mart and New Era Walls by HP. These solutions make it possible, with the Faux Canvas, to create affordable canvas-like wall décor out of personal photos or famous works of art. Along with photo books customers at Wal-Mart and Meijer stores can design photo posters, calendars, and greeting cards either in-store or online with same day pickup. Customers will be able to create their designs online, from the retailer’s website, and make their photos into treasured gifts and keepsakes. Also, New Era’s Custom Wall Coverings by HP allow consumers to work with their interior designer to create personalized wall covering. It will be possible to “choose from New Era’s portfolio of fine art and customize the design to fit the unique dimensions of your room.” With HP’s digital printing technologies, New Era will expand its role in interior design and provide an “easy, flexible way to create custom wall coverings that are easy to apply and remove, odorless and GREENGAURD Children & Schools Certifies.” Photos can also be quickly organized with Snapfish’s enhanced photo organizer, which uses facial recognition technology to organize photos.
