NYC Welcomes Dwell!

By chris

Last week a select group of design movers and shakers got to mingle and mix with Dwell Media’s new East Coast team at a private event celebrating the brand’s move into the NY market. The event, which took place in an absolutely fabulous 15th Street townhouse with interiors designed by Eric Cohler, featured seven stories of envy-inducing art and design. For those that made it to the top floor, the outdoor space and views were the icing on the incredible cake. Champagne poured to celebrate the East Coast Dwell team which will now include a new publisher, Brenda Saget Darling as well as Executive Editor Amanda Dameron. According to Dameron, who just moved into her NY digs the night before the party, “Dwell began as an idea of founder Lara Hedberg Deam, and although San Francisco will always be our home the time has come to solidify our roots on the East Coast. While we’ve always had a presence in NYC, we’re excited to embrace this vital artist community here and incorporate them into the next era of Dwell.”
