Spotted at Cersaie: Ceramic Patchwork!

We were in Bologna for Cersaie┬álast week, where ceramic tile manufacturers and bathroom furnishings companies unveil their newest collections to the world. Among the hundreds of colorful and textured ceramic tiles filling the aisles, one of the design trends that stood out the most were deliberately random patchwork patterns. From carpet-like compositions of small square tiles with bold, graphic patterns reminiscent of majolica to a mix-and-match design approach with various sizes, colors and materials, patchwork was everywhere! Here’s a glimpse at a few of our favorites:
