Reclaim NYC!

Calling all New Yorkers! Tonight is the night to Reclaim NYC! Our friends Jennifer and Jean have been working with the NYC Parks Department to utilize the debris from Superstorm Sandy and invite designers to create pieces of furniture and art that will be auctioned for charity.
Over 20 designers reclaimed materials from the storm while bringing attention to the issues of the raising sea level. Building materials and fallen trees are thoughtfully reborn to represent the recovery and adaptability of New York City.
Tonight’s silent auction is a unique opportunity for furniture collectors to bid on one-of-a-kind tables, chairs, lighting fixtures, and art objects, and to get them signed by their talented designers! Some of the artists even have plans to explore the themes of the storm into their future work.
Reclaim your piece of NYC on Wednesday, Dec 19 at Ligne Roset Soho, 155 Wooster Street from 7- 9 pm. All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross in Greater New York.
