Architectural Digest Home Design Show Welcomes New Team

The Architectural Digest Home Design Show is beginning the new year under new leadership. Show producer, The Merchandise Mart Properties (MMPI), has announced Jeff Petersen as director of sales, while Michael J. Rabatin will take over as marketing director. The two replace Troy Hanson and Megan Reilly.

According to Susan McCullough, MMPI senior vice president, “With more than 400 exhibitors, stellar programming, and themed pavilions, the show has become a leading platform for new products, trends, and inspiring ideas. We’ve carefully selected our new team and are thrilled to welcome Jeff Petersen and Michael J. Rabatin.” Highly accomplished, respected, and passionate about design, they bring with them a combined 50 years of sales, publishing, and marketing expertise. McCullough continues, “We were extremely impressed by their commitment to the industry and know that they will carry on the show’s tradition of excellence.”

Giulio Capua, vice president and publisher of Architectural Digest, adds, “We are pleased to have a member of the Architectural Digest family join the show. Jeff’s knowledge of the brand, its loyal following and the luxury goods category is invaluable. Combine this with Michael’s creative direction and we’ve got ourselves a winning pair.”

The 12th annual Architectural Digest Home Design Show returns to Pier 94 from March 21-24, 2013.  Trade admission is complimentary if you pre-register by March 15. After that date, trade can register onsite. A $25 admission fee will apply. The show is open to the public from March 22-24. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 onsite. Preview tickets are also available to consumers ($95) and include a one-year subscription to Architectural Digest, cocktail reception from 5-7PM on Thursday, March 21 and gift bag.
