Countdown to NeoCon East

The countdown is on as NeoCon East takes over the Baltimore Convention Center exactly one month from today. The two-day expo + conference features over 250 exhibitors and more than 30 accredited seminars. The show offers those in the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond an opportunity to see new and trend-driven products, material innovations and cutting edge technology across the entire contract world from GSA-approved products to innovations in healthcare, education, hospitality and office.

The 2013 edition features two impressive keynote speakers: Michael Graves and Suzanne Tick. Graves takes the floor at 11AM on opening day (October 16) and will present recent projects that range from military housing for returning wounded warriors to a revolutionary transport chair for the acute care hospital, to performance textiles for all healthcare environments. His talk is sponsored by C F Stinson.

The following day (October 17), award-winning textile designer, weaver, originator Suzanne Tick presents “Life’s Work,” a glimpse into the art and commercial work that happens at her home studio. Her 11:00am seminar is sponsored by Teknion.

In addition to the speakers, we have our eye on the products as the show features best in brand exhibitors such as Arcadia, Allermuir, Coalesse, Davis, Herman Miller, Inc., Steelcase, The Mohawk Group, Thonet, and many more. Set to impress with their latest and most innovative offerings across a wide range of categories, many will be showing off their products for the first time.
