Another Design On A Dime Done

By guest

Last Thursday, April 24, we got along to the preview of the hugely popular charity shopping event Design on a Dime. The stars of the show were the colorful design vignettes by some the interior design world’s biggest names and emerging talent, featuring donated merchandise offered at 50-70% off retail price. All profits from the sale of these products will go towards the Housing Works initiative “Get A Room,” a program that creates housing for homeless and low-income New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS. This year’s event, which celebrated the 10th anniversary, will benefit the Hull Street Residence project to provide comfortable housing for 30 individuals. Here’s a taste of what we saw.
