On the heels of IFDA New York’s Take A Bow event, five other IFDA Chapters across the country are holding their Take A Seat charity auction galas over the next two weeks—in Philadelphia (October 10) Scottsdale, Boca Raton (both October 11), Washington DC (October 15), and San Francisco (October 16). Each event will benefit local charities devoted to the theme of “Helping Heroes At Home” by auctioning off upcycled chair artworks by creative design industry professionals in the local area. Visit Take A Seat for information on the initiative and links to each event.

Chair designed by interior designer Aleksander Alembert, which will be auctioned at IFDA Florida's Take A Seat gala. Cuban Impressionist painter Andres Conde painted the image for the back of the chair, which itself is a 1900 Rococo original. Both Aleksander and Andres reside in Miami. The chair is at $20,000.
