By aziz adib

The AD Home Design Show is just a few days away, and we cannot contain our excitement! For fourteen years, it has showcased the best in the home design and luxury markets. The four-day event will exhibit over 400 premium brands, covering a range of categories, including: furniture, accessories, art, kitchen and bath products, flooring, rugs, carpets, electronics, ceramics, stone & tile, wall coverings, lighting, outdoor products and much more! This year, the Jenn-Air Master Class Theater is the place to be for inspiring, engaging and on-trend talks from today’s thought-leaders.

Thursday’s trade and media day programming, organized by Architectural Digest, will include sessions on “American Made from the Inside Out” (Noon) and “The Art & Science of Sourcing the Kitchen” (2-3PM). The seminars will come to a close with a keynote presentation by editor-in-chief Margaret Russell (4-5PM). She will speak on “Socializing Your Brand” alongside designers Alessandra Branca and Alex Papachristidis.

The New York Times will take over the theater from Friday to Sunday, kicking off their program on Friday with David Rockwell, who will take the stage with design writer Tim McKeough to talk about “Designing with a Mission.” The session will be followed by a tour to DIFFA’s DINING BY DESIGN (co-located at Pier 92) and a walk thru of the 50+ awe-inspiring table vignettes. On Saturday morning, HGTV’s Property Brothers, Jonathan & Drew Scott, will be on hand to talk about flipping houses, buying & renovation tips, and much more! Finally, the one-and-only Martha Stewart will close out the weekend with a conversation with Christophe Pourny on “The Furniture Bible.”
