Ready, set, shop! This three-day shopping event will showcase over 60 room vignettes, designed by today’s top talents. Since opening in 2004, Housing Works’ annual benefit, Design on a Dime, has become one New York’s favorite interior design event.  New York City’s Metropolitan Pavillon will be transformed into an array of unforgettable lifestyle installations featuring brand new-top notch (highly-discounted) merchandise.  The fun begins onThursday, April 23 with a ticketed VIP Opening Night Reception. (VIP Access at 5:30 pm).  Guests will get the first public look at the room vignettes and enjoy exclusive preview shopping, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live entertainment. The shopping continues with the FREE Public Designer Sale on Friday, April 24 from 10am – 7pm and Saturday, April 25 from 10am – 5pm.

Last year’s benefit raised over $1 million in support of Housing Works’ mission – to provide stable, permanent housing and lifesaving services for New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS.  Proceeds this year benefit Housing Works’ Hull Street Residence, a from-the-ground-up housing development that will offer nearly 30 units of permanent supportive housing for single, formerly homeless adults living with HIV/AIDS.
