NYCxDESIGN wouldn’t be complete without an Italian touch! This morning, the famous Italian kitchen brand Scavolini hosted “American Architects meet Italian Design” as part of International Design Appointments: a special breakfast series with lectures and talks.

James Biber of Biber Architects, the lead architect of the USA Pavilion at EXPO Milano 2015, was the guest of honor and presented his contemporary and technologically advanced project for the EXPO, American Food 2.0: United to Feed the Planet, which was designed in collaboration with dlandstudio (landscape design), Thinc Design (exhibit design), and Pentagram (graphic design), in addition to a team of experts, collaborators, and facilitators.

If breakfast isn’t your thing, we recommend trying Ed’s Lobster Bar at 222 Lafayette Street.
