Armed with a goal and a theme, the Architectural League of New York has announced the details of their annual competition. Seeking submissions from young architects and design visionaries, the League will recognize a project that encompasses this year’s theme—impermanence. The ideas of time, complexity, and variability should also be integrated into projects. Complete or incomplete projects are eligible for consideration by both the league’s hand-selected jury and the Young Architects & Designers Committee.

The winner will be announced in June 2016. A prize of $2,000 will be awarded, alongside the honor of presenting the project through a lecture, digital media presentation, and an exhibition.
