On December 10th, a wide variety of industry professionals from architects and interior designers, to general contractors and wallcovering specialists, came together to learn how to build a more effective Houzz page, and how to utilize the site to maximize potential. For those who don’t know, Houzz is “a platform for remodeling and design, with the aim to bring homeowners and home professionals together in a uniquely visual community.” With more than 35 million users across the country and around the world, the site allows users to get inspired, discover products, and collaborate with the right architect, designer, or contractor.

The LA Designers Houzz University workshop, held in partnership with and hosted by LA Furniture, provided attendees with an interactive presentation leaving them with a well-written description of their business, correctly categorized and uploaded photos of their work, and a grasp on how to use Ideabooks to effectively communicate with clients. Notable attendees included Montgomery Ross and Associates, Inc., Foundation Technology, and Emanuel Morez Inc.
