Calling All Young Designers: A Chance to Showcase Your Existing Prototypes at ICFF

By Melissa

Every year, Bernhardt Design and Emerald Expositions team up for the scholarship program ICFF Studio to support young and upcoming designers, connecting winners with a diverse array of manufacturers and clients at ICFF, North America’s premier platform for contemporary design.

ICFF Studio has fostered the careers for a number of past participants including well-known designers Brad Ascalon, Viable London, Chris Adamick, and Nolen Niu, and this year, up to 12 designers will be selected from the pool of applicants. Entries are judged on the design aesthetics, ability to be economically mass produced, maketability, and commercial viability. To be eligible to enter the competition, the designer must have a working prototype that is not currently in commercial production.

Winners are awarded a $1000 AMEX card and will display their work in their own booth at ICFF in New York City’s Javits Center from May 14–17, 2016.

Competition Deadline: January 31st, 2016. To submit, click here.
