Visitors slipped white paper booties over their shoes in eager preparation for this unique presentation. Once seated inside the pristine enclosures, they saw the striking display of OLED panels by Kaneka Corporation, a leading technology-driven chemical manufacturer headquartered in Japan. In a matter of moments, the panels awashed the space in a stunningly smooth, soft light. Visitors remained fixated on the display in anticipation of its playful shifts in brightness which featured a wide spectrum of white light.

This engaging exhibition showcased the unique capabilities of Kaneka OLED technology through the imaginative lens of renowned Japanese lighting designer, Shozo Toyohisa (pictured below).

OLED Technology produces beautiful, diffuse lighting. Toyohisa, the experienced lighting designer with a background in industrial design, envisioned many applications for OLED which offers ease of use, precise color consistency and flexibility. Whether used in displays for retail or hospitality settings, or as fixtures in residential interiors, OLED is an eco-friendly lighting choice.

For those who were unable to experience OLED Technology in person, either at the opening party on November 1st or during public visiting hours on November 2nd, they can expect additional collections of products by Kaneka OLED, including the official launch of Kaneka Luce set for release in early 2017.
